My husband and I enjoyed both our tours in Korea & Japan and appreciate all the organizing done by Arirang Tours. The MERS issue didn't affect our
trip too much except
for our trip to the DMZ in S.Korea - we were not able to visit Panmunjeom because it was closed down due to MERS. That was the only part of our trip that we were disappointed about, but we had a wonderful trip otherwise. I hope
other travelers are not too scared/worried to visit Korea because of MERS - I think the danger is a bit too over-exaggerated by the media. We took our own safely precautions while we were there (extra hand washing, not touching our eyes/mouth/face with hands, etc.) but never felt in severe danger because we were never near the hospitals where most infections were occurring. Hopefully, travelers will feel safer to visit in a few weeks later this summer.
Many thanks to Arirang Tours; we will definitely recommend your company to anyone we know who will be traveling to Asia! Sincerely, Catherine
To whom it may concern,
Recently I visited DRP Korea. I was unexpectedly surprised. It was different from what I read in Western press. I found only healthy and well-nourished looking people. They were well dressed and just going about their normal lives. The city was well laid out with many parks and in and outdoor facilities. I am going back in early October 2015 to see more of this intriguing country. Many thanks to Andrew, the directer of Arirang Tours in Sydney, who made this trip possible and the
most
enjoyable holiday I ever had. From Michael John
* Michael John took North Korea Tour again to look Military Parade on 10 Oct 2015! Arirang Tours made the itinerary for 26 days including Mt.Paekdu for him.
We are back in Sydney and are really happy with all the tour that you put together to us.It was really a incredibly
trip and the
service from all guides and hotel, trains was perfect. The best guide overall was in S. Korea (M. Choi) she was perfect, the best... with all knowledge of the places, history and control of all trip around. I would like to express my thanks to
Arirang Tours for their professionalism and being considerate. They made us Korea and Japan tour more exciting and enjoyable. They made us feel like we are long time acquaintances and made us feel relaxed, safe and cared. Thanks. From Mr & Mrs Walter
Thank you for your assistance with the Tokyo tour that we are planning for October this year. We enjoyed the Essence of Korea tour which you arranged
last year that we
contacted you again for the Tokyo tour knowing you will look after us in your usual efficient friendly manner. We still talk about the wonderful time we had in South Korea in October 2014. From the time we were picked up at the airport on arrival, the accommodation in Seoul and in other cities, the places we visited, the guides, the food, even the weather, everything was perfect. We always felt safe and secure knowing we could always call the Lotte office in Seoul. If we could not contact them,
we knew we could always call you in Sydney and you will sort things out for us.
Our guides in Seoul, Mr Lee and Robert, were very knowledgeable and accommodating, allowing us to go around at own pace and very considerate of our mother who had limited mobility. Nevertheless, we were able to see and learn so much in the few days we were there.
Thanks for suggesting the DMZ and Panmunjon tour. We got a glimpse of what North Korea looks like. We had an exciting time at the border and even got to see a North Korean soldier!
Charles, our guide from Seoul to Busan, was very helpful and professional. He made the long drive enjoyable. He went out of his way to assist us in getting our mother¡¯s wheelchair fixed in Gwangju. We are so grateful for his help as we could not have done it without him. A trip to South Korea would not be complete without visiting Jeju Island and we¡¯re so glad we did. It¡¯s a fascinating place and made more memorable by our excellent guide Janice.
We loved the countryside and the mountains, the museums, fortresses and temples, as well as the modern cities and malls, gardens and parks, the hardworking people and the schoolkids on excursions that we talked to and had photos with. Everywhere there¡¯s balance and harmony of the ancient and the new, the old and the young, the yin and the yang. For me, that was the ¡°essence¡±of Korea.
Thank you again for arranging our Essence of Korea tour from 19th October to 2nd November 2014. We could not have had such a great time if not for your assistance.
We have told our friends to visit South Korea, to book with Arirang Tours and look for you, Mr. Andrew Yoon, the Managing Director who will look after them as ¡°honoured guests¡± as you did with us. Best Regards, Brenda and Theresa
